Enigma-Bulwark product portfolio comprises of multiple battery options powering GSM/GPS based asset location and monitoring devices. The product range mainly consists of non-rechargeable units, which facilitate operating durations of 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 years in various sizes and footprints.
The three, five, seven and ten year devices have multiple alarm input capability, and can interface with additional modules including; temperature, movement, door opening, and angle sensors, which makes them applicable to both standard tracking and specialist reporting applications.
The Enigma-Bulwark developed end user software provides leading enterprise management solutions of all tracking devices including geo-fencing, along with tracking and reporting functions. Pearloxx Secure Locking & Tracking Unit
The Pearloxx locking system has patented locking system. The Pearloxx lock has a built in gps tracking system so a shipping container can be tracked. This unit is a lock; a tracking system and a shipping container seal all in one unit. It can be fitted in 20 seconds with no drilling with provides significant value to the Pearloxx proposition.
PearLoxx design is based on a patented shipping container lock, with an integrated GPS tracking system that can last for multiple years without any maintenance, recharging or battery change.
The lock designed to be fitted to a shipping container door in 20 seconds without any drilling. The PearLoxx system can be removed from a container and immediately fitted to another container, as there is no need to recharge the unit after each journey.
The PearLoxx unit is not just a lock with a built in tracking system. It is an intelligent seal that can report the opening and closing of the shipping container doors. The system benefits from a patented and certified shipping container lock and the most advanced battery powered GPS tracking system on the market today.
Each lock can be tracked using the PearLoxx mapping portal. The location and status of the lock can be viewed using any Internet enabled computer, tablet or smart phone. The PearLoxx users log in to the system with their unique username and password.

The locks can be geo-fenced to report when the shipping container is moved from a location. There are two versions of the PearLoxx shipping container lock tracking device. The PearLoxx PL-1000 (pearloxx.com), which is a 10-year battery life unit incorporating Enigma-Bulwark’s unique and proven long life solution. This unit will give 4 positions a day without maintenance for up to ten years.
There is also a rechargeable unit the PL-90, which also uses Enigma-Bulwark’s power management technology. The PL-90 will last many times longer than any rechargeable GPS tracking unit currently on the market. This unit has all the features of its big brother the PT-1000.There is also a version of the PL-1000, designed, to be permanently fitted when the shipping container is constructed, becoming and integral part of the container.
Software
Many battery powered products incorporate automatic reboot functions due to reliability issues experienced in service. Enigma-Bulwark’s philosophy is ‘Quality by Design’, and as such design aviation class software, which is constructed to be self-monitoring and not require reboot.
Unlike most telematics providers, who are in essence system integrators or merely distributors, the Enigma-Bulwark back-office system is dedicated to our own hardware solutions, and designed totally in-house. This ensures complete compatibility with all hardware with a fully optimized turnkey solution.
Product recalls represent huge customer inconvenience and considerable cost to the supplier. With the Company’s Cloud based upgradeable firmware Enigma-Bulwark are able to add new features and upgrades without unnecessary cost or inconvenience.
The Enigma-Bulwark units have flexible operating modes and auxiliary connections; these facilitate the detection of movement, temperature, and door sensors. Via the device, a user can also remotely control third party systems and equipment, making the Enigma-Bulwark system suitable for many additional M2M and monitoring applications.
Battery Management
This specialist IP is driven by an in-depth understanding of how the multiple technologies contained within the Enigma-Bulwark system work most efficiently, and encompasses proven techniques, complex power management systems, and advanced hardware design to maximize battery life.
In order to standardize performance figures, the Enigma-Bulwark products have quoted expected battery life based on normal conditions and reporting 4 events per day at typical room temperature. Therefore under these conditions, for the primary cell products the following expected life applies:

Web Portal
The Enigma-Bulwark tracking portal is designed to utilize multiple mapping data and GIS engines. By default the Company currently use the Microsoft Virtual Earth map engine, this provides road, aerial and birds-eye views over almost the entire globe.

A central monitoring capability enables Enigma-Bulwark to extend the initial contract terms through the ‘extension’ or ‘unlocking’ of further messaging capability of the installed unit, subject to available battery performance data. These certified ‘extended warranties’ provide existing customers with renewal rates through extended contracts and the business with a second level of revenue.
